Importing and Mapping

Overview

The importing and mapping features allow you to bring products from connected reseller platforms into your Magpie catalog and link existing products across multiple extranets to prevent duplicates.

Importing Products

Access the Import tab to view products available for import from your connected reseller platforms.

Search and Filter

• Use the search bar to locate specific products
• Filter by status using the status buttons: All, Active, Draft, Inactive, or None

Import Options

You can import products in two ways:

• Single Import - Click Import on an individual product to bring it into Magpie
• Bulk Import - Select multiple products using the checkboxes, then click Import Selected to bring them all in at once

Mapping Products

Mapping connects a Magpie product with its corresponding listing on a reseller platform. This is essential for enabling content synchronization without creating duplicate entries.

How to Map a Product

1. Click the Create Listing button
2. Select the Magpie product from the first dropdown
3. Search for and select the corresponding reseller platform product from the second dropdown
4. Click Create Listing to finalize the mapping

Benefits of Mapping

Once a product is mapped, you can push content updates directly from Magpie to that reseller platform product. This enables multi-extranet management without product duplication, saving time and ensuring consistency across all your distribution channels.
